The day that RedOpium was waiting for.. We arrive at the Tanjong Benoa in Nusa Dua at around 9.30am. The worker there psycho us to take up scuba diving instead of snorkeling for better underworld experience. In the end we agreed and top up another 500,000 rupiah for a 30 minutes dive.
RedOpium was really really excited and I was really really scared. Other than snorkeling, they also offered other water activities like banana boat ride, parasailing, wakeboarding, jet ski and water ski. So the instruction were told and RedOpium was the 1st one to go. He had no problem waiting for me in the water while I was struggling to be in the water. Took me like 5 minutes to go into the water after trying not to panic.
The scene was beautiful. I get to feed the fishes with bread and swim around hand in hand with RedOpium. The fishes were literally swimming around you and they were so colourful. I also had fish bites and it stings quite a bit. Overall it was a wonderful experience. RedOpium said that it was not as beautiful as the time that he went snorkeling in Phuket whereby the waters were clear and beautiful coral reef. He felt that our diving trip was too short.
The rest of the day were spent at the Centro Shopping Mall which is the equivalent to Centrepoint. It was a downpour when we left and there were floods in most roads and the taxi we were in had to divert to other roads. In the end we had to walk through the flood (which was until my knee) with an umbrella to the shopping centre. We saw the local kids playing in the flood. It was my first flood experience and was a funny one.
Good thing about Bali is that their fast food is Halal. They have the usual McDonald's, KFC and Pizza Hut. We arrive at Centro, we saw A & W. It like been ages since we had A & W so decided to have a bite. The 2 piece chicken meal cost 36 000 rupiah which is like $4.70 which you cannot get in Singapore! Ya, I know I'm always talking about how cheap the food in Bali is which is really plus point for me. Then we window shop for a while and then hang out at Starbucks. We took a taxi back to our hotel after a day full of first times.
